When to use a quality control inspection?
◊ Pre- Shipment Inspection (PSI)
What is a PSI?
The Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), also called Final Random Inspection (FRI) or Finished Quality Control, will take place when at least 80% of the products are ready and packed into export cartons. You can of course specify when booking with us if you want 100% of the products to be ready for this inspection. The pre shipment inspection will take place at the factory, or in some cases, it could even take place at the forwarder's premises or at the pier.
What do we check during a PSI?
During the FRI, we cover all possible on site checks of your products: Product appearance (AQL), workmanship, safety and functionality, quantity, assortment, colors/measurements/ weight, accessories, labeling & logos, packing & packaging, and any other special requirements you may have.
Our team of experienced Chinese or Western inspectors randomly selects a specific quantity of completed products, according to AQL tables, and inspects them according to your specifications, requirements and according to our protocols and expertise. After completion of the inspection, a fully detailed inspection report with pictures and comments is sent to you. Then you are able to Accept or Reject your shipment.

◊ Initial Production Inspection (IPI)
What is an IPI ?
An Initial Production Inspection is an on-site Product Inspection performed before your production begins, up until 20%-40% has been completed. A preliminary inspection of all machinery and materials to be used in your production, an IPI is the first step in ensuring the quality of your product will be consistent throughout production. An IPI is an early-warning system that safeguards your product against costly import risks and will ensure your specifications are understood by the factory and to prevent any potential flaws in the production resources, materials, schedules, management and more.

A During Production Check is an on-site Product Inspection performed when 20-80% of your production is completed and packed for shipping. This inspection of randomly selected units from all completed batches of your production informs you whether or not your factory is continuing to follow your original specifications, and if your production is still on schedule. A DUPRO keeps your production on the right track .

We will intervene in the middle of the production process, we check if the quality of your products reaches your standards and we make a statement of your production schedule. We inspect the actual production volume to avoid any delays in your final shipment. At this stage, you can still modify the production protocol and still be on time with your order in case of problems.

◊ Container Loading Supervision (CLS)
Container Loading Supervision (CLS) checks that your order is both complete and securely loaded into its container before shipment. This inspection ensures that the goods delivered by the factory are compliant with your requirements in terms of quantity, assortment, and packaging.
A container loading inspection also ensures that the export cartons are securely loaded into the container, and that the container is in good condition (clean, dry, damage and odor free).
